Delectable Designers: Erin Fetherston

Ahh, this post is LONG overdo. I started drafting it up awhile ago, but never finished. I wanted to make sure that I took the time to give my fashion idol the blog time she so aptly deserves.

I am an Erin Fetherston stalker. I love her designs, her style and her unique look. She is like the goddess of fashion to me and can do no wrong. With the Fall 2010 fashion week being right around the corner, I, along with my fellow fashionistas I'm sure, have been stalking the latest designs from our most esteemed designers. This season it goes without saying that on the couture front, Armani Privé's 2010 collection has really taken the cake.
But, for little ol' me whose wallet's best bet is on the RTW front, can we please take a look at a few favorites from my girl Erin:

The last number is my favorite! Classic and fierce all in the same breath.
This particular collection was inspired by Erin's childhood trip to Nara, Japan. These looks are perfect for after-work socials, cocktail parties and give off capricious New York vibes.

Delectable Designers: Mandate of Heaven

Girly. Whimsical. Fun.
Those were the first words that came to mind when I discovered Mandate of Heaven online. They're definitely the kind of clothes made for the eccentric lover of vintage beauty.
Every piece (with the exception of their Bespoke Denim) is created partially/completely with recycled or vintage materials.

The clothing is quite magical and their Spring 2010 Opiate collection is BRILLIANT:

You can view more of the line here.

Shop them online at Bona Drag or visit their store. Info for their flagship store/studio can be found below:

Delectable Designers: Lorick

I discovered this designer by accident and it was such a beautiful surprise.
The new collection makes me think of what one would wear to chic cocktail parties in Paris or after-work dinners with friends in Italy. The vibe is so European and sophisticated and I love it!

You may have noticed some of Abigail Lorick's pieces on Gossip Girl. They played the role of Eleanor Waldorf's runway collection.

GG fans, remember these beauties?:

And are you kidding me? These are from her Fall '09 collection:

Delicious!

Her line is only 2-years old, but Abigail Lorick is definitely making a name for herself. See more of her masterpieces here. Definitely out of my budget, but so pretty to look at!
